The Seal Stop Tool is a must-have for the installation of any shaped, non-round lower punches. The presence of lower punch tip damage is common because the punch must be forced past the lower seal during installation. Oftentimes, this requires significant force, and the punch tip will make contact with the installed die before it can be properly aligned and inserted into the die.
